Matthew C. Turner uses storytelling to explore the extraordinary. As co-founder of Prosperity Studios and creator of IP universes, he specializes in structuring layered narratives with intricate character webs that easily expand across a transmedia landscape. His words and work reflect a rare blend of wit and warmth, introspection and imagination, creating art that is heart-warming and thought-provoking.

As Story Sherpa and world builder, his role is to guide artists to the summit of their artistic expression.  He leverages his knowledge of consciousness and diverse skillset to activate his audience’s sense of wonder and awe in life itself. 

He fell in love with film-making while working at his hometown movie theatre in high school. After studying English and Film at Boston College, he moved to Hollywood to tell stories of his own. For many years, he worked across all facets of the industry—from pre to post, both before and behind camera.

In 2010, he abruptly quit when he visited Swami Paramahansa Yogananda’s Self-Realization Fellowship in the Pacific Palisades of Los Angeles. He devoted the next decade to finding God and to better understanding the depths of consciousness that tie humanity together.

In 2020, while recovering from a life-threatening illness, he decided to return to his love for screenwriting. He co-founded Prosperity Pictures to leverage the power of stories as a force for good in the world.
