Daniel Colantonio
(Sat Kiret)
Daniel is an artist and entrepreneur born in Newton, MA. A life-long, passionate writer, he fell in love with movies in high school working at the West Newton Cinema. After graduating from Boston University and working at a local newspaper, he moved to LA to write screenplays.
While living in LA, he worked as an extra while writing scripts on the side. Instead, working in the direct sales industry and pursuing personal development helped shape him into an entrepreneur.
He was also grateful to discover his spiritual path during this time. The works of Paramahansa Yogananda, Self-Realization Fellowship, Agape, and kundalini yoga all made a deep impact on his spiritual growth, and the stories he is inspired to tell.
In 2012 he moved to Santa Barbara, where he co-founded Hustlers for Humanity to merge his passions for sports and community service. He credits the 2020 pandemic as his catalyst to return to writing and launch Prosperity Studios. his love for writing.
A believer in transformative storytelling, his stories are rooted in place and told at human scale. As president of Prosperity Pictures, his mission is to curate a slate of values-aligned projects. He views each project as art, that when honored and carefully stewarded, can grow to become a durable, cultural asset, with long-tail value and asymmetric upside.
His vision for Prosperity Studios is a platform that supports artists and cultivates a living library of timeless stories that together uplift, inspire and entertain for generations.
