Daniel Colantonio is a transformative artist whose stories are rooted in place and told at human scale.

Born in Newton, MA, he is a life-long writer who fell in love with movies in high school working at West Newton Cinema. After studying politics and philosophy at Boston University and working at a local newspaper, he moved to Los Angeles.

In LA., he worked on film/TV sets while developing his entrepreneurial spirit in the direct sales industry. His continued pursuit of personal and leadership development shaped him into the social entrepreneur he is today.

He was also blessed to discover Paramahansa Yogananda, Self-Realization Fellowship, and Agape while living in Los Angeles. His spiritual path and inner journey continues to make a deep impact on the stories he’s inspired to tell. 

After moving to Santa Barbara, he co-founded Hustlers for Humanity — a movement to unite humanity as ONE Team, and nonprofit organization using a team sports approach to inspire community service. Now based in Boston, Hustlers will relaunch in 2026 along with Serve, a community service platform and New World Game.

It was during the 2020 pandemic that Daniel embraced himself as an artist, and reignited his passion for writing.

He launched Prosperity Studios to develop his work and support other artists. His mission is to curate a slate of values-aligned projects that become lovable, durable, cultural assets that bring long-term upside — to each artist and all who support them.
